Edo State Guber: APC candidate Okpebholo declared winner

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Monday Okpebholo, Gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the Edo State Governorship Election 2024.

54-year old Okpebholo clinched a total of 291,667 votes to discomfit Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who amassed 247,274 votes.

Labour Party (LP) Gubernatorial candidate, Olumide Akpata, came far off third with an accumulated 22,763 votes.
