An auto crash has claimed the life of a five-year-old girl and injured four others in Anambra State.
The incident was disclosed in a statement in Awka on Wednesday by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.
Obi encouraged “the Road Safety Commission to remain firm in implementing road safety measures.”
According to Obi: “I am disheartened by the sad news reports of a fatal road accident which occurred at a local market in the Abagana Community of Anambra State, where some lives, were lost, and others injured.
I encourage the Road Safety Commission to remain firm in implementing road safety measures and ensure that road users strictly obey road traffic rules and regulations.
I sincerely condole with the families who have lost loved ones, and pray for the quick recovery of those injured.”
