Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has welcomed the new Commissioner of Police, CP J.O. Eribo, to Akwa Ibom State.

The Governor “reiterated my unwavering commitment to supporting our security agencies to ensure effective policing across the state”, and expressed confidence “that CP Eribo, with his impressive credentials and vast experience, will significantly enhance our ongoing efforts to strengthen our security architecture”.

According to Governor Eno: “Yesterday, I welcomed the new Commissioner of Police, CP J.O. Eribo, to Akwa Ibom State. I reiterated my unwavering commitment to supporting our security agencies to ensure effective policing across the state, particularly as we approach the upcoming Local Government elections. 


I’m confident that CP Eribo, with his impressive credentials and vast experience, will significantly enhance our ongoing efforts to strengthen our security architecture, including the Ibom Community Watch initiative. We stand ready to collaborate for the safety and peace of our people.
