Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has “reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the ideals of true democracy.”

He made the statement when he welcomed 226 Ward Chairmen and Local & State Executive members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to Government House, Yola.

The Governor said, “you can’t get leaders who are accountable to the people if you don’t allow the people to choose their leaders.”

According to Governor Fintiri: “Today, I welcomed 226 Ward Chairmen and Local & State Executive members of our great party, the @OfficialPDPNig, to Government House Yola. I reaffirmed my unwavering commitment to the ideals of true democracy. Together, we will continue to strengthen our party and work tirelessly for the salvation of Nigeria.”


He continued: “So long as you don’t allow the people to choose their leaders, you can’t get leaders who are accountable to the people.”
