Kamala Harris, Presidential candidate of the Democratic Party and Vice President of the United States (US), has vowed to “end housing shortage, when I am President”.

Harris will be up against Donald Trump of the Republican Party in the US Presidential Election 2024 which will hold on Tuesday 5 November, 2024.
According to Harris: “My mother saved for years to buy a home. I was a teenager when that day finally came—I remember how excited she was.
Right now, home ownership is out of reach for too many Americans.
When I am President, we will end the housing shortage by building 3 million homes and rentals.”
