Kamala Harris, United States (US) Vice President and Democratic Party Presidential candidate, said, “American people definitely can’t have confidence in Donald Trump because his own team doesn’t”.

The US VP’s statement is coming prior to the United States (US) Presidential Election 2024 which is just some weeks away.
On Tuesday 5 November, 2024, American people will head to vote for their next leader which will be either Kamala Harris or Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
Both Harris and Trump will face each other in a debate which “is in less than two weeks”.
Harris was reacting to a tweet by Josh Dawsey (@jdawsey1), a Washington Post reporter, which says: “Trump campaign has accepted these rules, per Tuesday email to ABC reviewed by the Post. Kamala Harris’s campaign has not yet accepted these rules, as they seek to unmute the microphones for the entire debate. Debate is in less than two weeks.”
In her comment after quoting @jdawsey1, Harris said: “Donald Trump is surrendering to his advisors who won’t allow him to debate with a live microphone. If his own team doesn’t have confidence in him, the American people definitely can’t.
We are running for President of the United States. Let’s debate in a transparent way—with the microphones on the whole time.”
