The Los Blancos discomfited the La Dea 2-0 to lift the trophy – Federico Valverde opened scoring for Carlo Ancelotti’s side in the 59th minute, and Kylian Mbappe sealed win for the Spanish giants with his 68th minute goal.
The encounter was French forward, Mbappe’s debut for Real Madrid where he netted his first goal and won his first trophy since joining in June from Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) following expiration of his contract with the French Champions.
Bellingham expressed his gratitude to Madridistas after winning the MVP award. He said: “#Madridistas, thank you very much for your support. Super champions again. VAMOS!”
