On Saturday 24 August, 2024, Brighton and Hove Albion defeated Manchester United 2-1 at the American Express (AMEX) Community Stadium.
Former United forward, Danny Welbeck, opened scoring for the Seagulls in the 32nd minute, and, the visitors levelled through Amda Diallo in the 60th minute; Alejandro Garnacho put Erik Ten Hag’s side ahead with the second, however, it was disallowed for offside.
Then Pedro being unmarked headed home for the hosts in the 4th minute of additional time to hand Fabian Hurzeler’s side all three (3) points.
