Pepe, Portugal centre-back, has retired from football.

The 41-year old played his last game at the Euro 2024 where Portugal got defeated by France on penalties in the quarter finals.
He emerged the oldest player to feature in the European Championship finals tournament.
Pepe said: “I want to thank God for giving me the wisdom to be able to continue my journey.”
