Rena Wakama, coach of Nigeria’s women basketball team, D’tigress, has emerged “best coach of Paris 2024”.

Wakama guided D’tigress to the quarter finals of the basketball (Women) event of the Paris 2024, however, she was knocked out of the tournament by the USA female basketball team, losing 74-88.
The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) made the announcement of Wakama’s feat on its official X account.
FIBA announced: “Nigeria’s incredible run at #Olympics wasn’t going to go unnoticed.
“Rena Wakama is the Best Coach of #Paris2024 Women’s Basketball.”
