Israel and Hamas started fighting after Hamas launched a surprise attack on the Southern region of Israel, killing thousands of Israelis and taking many others hostage.

The world’s soccer governing body said late on Friday, it would now take into consideration the proposals by the Palestine Football Association (PFA) against Israel Football Association (IFA) in October.

According to FIFA Media: “FIFA has received the independent legal assessment of the Palestine Football Association’s proposals against the Israel Football Association. This assessment will be sent to the FIFA Council to review in order that the subject can be discussed at its next meeting, which will take place in October.

FIFA would like to thank both member associations for their ongoing support and cooperation.”
