Bayern Munich manager, Vincent Kompany, has said in an interview, that the Bavarians are “going to give everything to do better this season”.

Bayern Munich performed way below expectation in the previous season (2023/24), finishing third with 72 points, behind VfB Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen who finished with 73 (second) and 90 (first) respectively.
The German side will play against Tottenham Hotspur in a pre season match at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday 3 August, 2024 at 12:00pm WAT.
In his interview, Kompany said:
On the season ahead: “We’re going to give everything to do better this season. I expect a reaction from everyone, which can already be observed in training. I hope we also see that in the next few games, and above all from the first competitive game in the cup.”
On the match against Tottenham Hotspur: “We want to build up a good fitness level. I want to see the right mentality, also from the players who haven’t been training for as long. Most of the players will be involved tomorrow, but we’ll spread out the game time.”
On the new signings: “I’m pleased about the new players. Sometimes it’s not just about gaining quality but also new energy. I hope they’ll giver their best to celebrate lots of successes with this club.”
On Neuer and Müller: “I have clear ideas of what I and we as a team want to achieve. The experienced players are used to working with coaches with high expectations. Even when you’re already a legend, you always want to improve. So it’s almost easier to work with players of that calibre and that experience.”
