Former United States (US) President, Donald Trump, was expected to speak with President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, today, a day after formally accepting the Grand Old Party (GOP) nomination for President.

Trump’s July 2019 phone call with Zelenskyy, during which Trump tried to pressure the Ukrainian leader to open an investigation into then-candidate Joe Biden, led to his first impeachment.
Pressure continue to heighten on President Joe Biden to step out of the race, as more allies both privately and publicly, say the time has come for him to step aside.
Biden and First Lady, Jill Biden, are home in Delaware, after the President tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week.
