A girl, 8, and a woman have lost their lives after a house fire in Huddersfield, United Kingdom (UK).

The second child, 10, is in a critical condition in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Leeds Road, where firefighters rescued the woman and two children from the house.
The three were rushed to hospital where the women and one of the girls died subsequently due to their injuries as disclosed by West Yorkshire Police.
We are treating the fire incident as “suspicious”, officers investigating the sad occurrence said.
