Zelenskyy wrote: “I had a productive phone call with @KristenMichalPM on his first day as Estonia’s Prime Minister, wishing him every success in his work for the prosperity of his nation.

Estonia is one of our most principled allies, and we are grateful for their annual defense support to Ukraine, remaining at 0.25% of their GDP. This long-term strategic commitment serves as an excellent example for other partners.

Prime Minister Michal also reaffirmed continued support for Ukraine’s path towards EU and NATO membership.

We discussed ongoing cooperation, including between our defense companies, and agreed to meet at the earliest opportunity.”
