President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has come out to express his gratitude to Germany and the United States (US) for helping to strengthen the air defense shield of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian President said, “this week alone, Russia has used 600 guided aerial bombs, nearly 40 missiles of various types on our people”.
The fighting between Russia and Ukraine has surpassed two (2) years; after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February, 2022.
Zelenskyy added, “to protect all our cities and villages, and to truly overcome Russian terror, we need more concrete decisions”.
According to President Zelenskyy: “Our people continuously suffer from Russian terror. This week alone, Russia has used over 600 guided aerial bombs, more than 60 “Shahed” drones, and nearly 40 missiles of various types.
We have significantly strengthened our air defense shield this week, thanks to Germany and the United States. Ukraine’s Patriots will prove their worth even more in countering Russian terror.
However, to protect all our cities and villages, and to truly overcome Russian terror, we need more concrete decisions. Next week, we will work with our partners for such decisions – preparations are already underway.”
