The United Kingdom (PM) new Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has vowed to continue to give “unshakeable support” to Ukraine as it fights against Russia.

The Labour Party Leader said, “Ukraine’s ongoing fight against Russian aggression matters to all of us”.
Keir Starmer defeated Rishi Sunak of the Conservative Party with a huge victory to emerge the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK).
The UK General Election 2024 held on Thursday 4 July, 2024.
Starmer’s assurance of “unshakeable support” to Ukraine is coming after the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, sent his congratulatory message to the new UK PM.
In his congratulatory message, President Zelenskyy wrote: “I was pleased to speak with @Keir_Starmer on the day of his appointment as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
I congratulated Sir Keir Starmer on his election victory and wished him success in fulfilling the British people’s expectations of the new government.
I am grateful to Prime Minister Starmer for reaffirming the UK’s principled and unwavering support for Ukraine.
“We coordinated positions ahead of the NATO Summit in Washington and other international events, as well as discussed ways to strengthen our partnership, including the preparation of an unprecedented 100-year partnership agreement between Ukraine and the UK.”
UK PM, Starmer, quoted President Zelenskyy’s tweet and commented: “Ukraine’s ongoing fight against Russian aggression matters to all of us.
