Reno Omokri wants to know “how this makes sense?” that, “Lagos is paying more than double the minimum wage at ₦70,000, and is not owing workers” while “Abia is paying below minimum wage and still owes workers’ salaries”.

Omokri’s statements above are in reaction to two headlines which says ‘we’ll pay salary arrears in tranch…Abia govt’ and ‘Lagos workers earn minimum of N70,000 since January – Sanwo-Olu’.
Reno Omokri asked: “Abia is paying below minimum wage and still owes workers’ salaries. Lagos is paying more than double the minimum wage at ₦70,000, and is not owing workers. Yet, it is Lagos you want to protest and Abia you want to protect?
Please, explain to me how this makes sense.”
