Rihito Yamamoto netted an 82nd minute goal to help Japan clinch all three point of the encounter.
This makes it two out of two for Japan after cruising past Paraguay by five (5) goals to nil in opener.
Paris 2024 wrote: “After another spectacular second day, two teams have already qualified for the quarter-finals.
“Japan and Spain, see you very soon.”
