The politician and activist, according to reports, died on Tuesday 30 July, 2024 in Lagos.
Omokri said, “nobody in Nigeria’s entertainment industry was as naturally beautiful as Onyeka Onwenu.”
Reno Omokri wrote: “Nobody in Nigeria’s entertainment industry was as naturally beautiful and awesomely talented as Onyeka Onwenu. As a vocalist, she remains unmatched, hitting the right notes without auto-tune. Just look at her here. She could have been Miss Nigeria. She had the looks, charm, and intelligence. She would call on video to play with my daughter. The great Iyogogo who shared one love with us and made our youth that much brighter.”
