Reeves emerged the first female Chancellor of the United Kingdom (UK) following her appointment into the cabinet of new Prime Minister, Keir Starmer.
She said: “Growth was the Labour Party’s mission. It is now a national mission.
There is no time to waste.
“The work of change has begun – and that starts with fixing the foundations.
“The work towards a decade of national renewal has begun.
There is no time to waste.
And we are just getting started.”
