‘Nigeria’s societies are classless, almost everybody genuinely thinks at the same level’ – David Hundeyin

David Hundeyin has come out to say that, “Nigeria has one of the world’s few truly classless societies where almost everybody genuinely thinks at the same level.”

The Investigative Journalist explained, “the same lack of foresight that makes the mai ruwa collect spaghetti and N2,000 to vote against his own interest every 4 years, is what makes billionaire industrialists support candidates with zero economic track record.”

According to David Hundeyin: “When I keep saying that there is no difference between Nigerian “elites” and the average mai ruwa in Tundun-Waziri, it looks like I’m doing too much. Nigeria has one of the world’s few truly classless societies where almost everybody genuinely thinks at the same level.

The same lack of foresight that makes the mai ruwa collect spaghetti and N2,000 to vote against his own interest every 4 years, is what makes billionaire industrialists support candidates with zero economic track record, business credentials, or shared geopolitical alignment with them.

If you knew that the APC candidate was a foreign proxy working for external powers who have a vested interest in maintaining Nigeria’s lack of industrialisation and its continued cheap export of unprocessed natural resources, why would you, as a business person – whose wealth comes from industrial processes and a growing economy – ever support such a candidate?

This was the same rubbish that the chatterbox, empty-head middle classes did too in 2015, when they carried their Dubai-weekend-visiting, monthly-ASUS-ordering, 7% annual GDP-growing, $510bn economy and handed it over to an illiterate who has still never proved that he completed secondary school, because the Otuoke man with the funny hat had a shouty wife and something something Diezani, something something $20bn, something corruption, something something Chibok.

A society made up of people who cannot visualise the future!”

When I keep saying that there is no difference between Nigerian “elites” and the average mai ruwa in Tundun-Waziri, it looks like I’m doing too much. Nigeria has one of the world’s few truly classless societies where almost everybody genuinely thinks at the same level.

The same…
