Nigerian singer Dr Alban ‘inducted into European Hall of Fame’

According to Peter Obi, “Nigerian-born Swedish musician and producer, Alban Uzoma Nwapa, popularly known as Dr Alban, was recently inducted into the European Hall of Fame.”

Dr Alban is well-known for his hit songs like ‘Hallelujah Day’, ‘It’s My Life’, ‘Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner’ amongst others.

Obi said: “A Nigerian-born Swedish musician and producer, Alban Uzoma Nwapa, popularly known as Dr Alban, was recently inducted into the European Hall of Fame. Dr Alban has an estimated 16 million records sold worldwide, with his 1992 hit “It’s My Life”


“reaching number one in several countries, including Israel, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Germany. He also founded his music label, Dr. Records, further cementing his legacy in the music world.
