Players like Sunday Oliseh, Augustine ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha, Nwankwo Knau…led Nigeria to Gold in the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics.
Some other players that fought tooth and nail to ensure Nigeria clinched the Gold medal in the football event include: Joseph Dosu, Celestine Babayaro, Taribo West, Uche Okechukwu, Mobi Oparaku, Tijani Babangida, Victor Ikpeba, Daniel Amokachi, and thr list continues.
Dutch football coach, Jo Bonfrere, guided Nigeria to victory.
