Euro 2024: ‘We all pick faults in Southgate but he’s a good man with better record’ – Piers Morgan

English broadcaster and media personality, Piers Morgan, has described England head coach, Gareth Southgate, as “a good man”.

This is coming ahead of the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England on Sunday 14 July, 2024 at Olympiastadion, Berlin, Germany at 20:00 (Nigerian Time).

The journalist added, “we all pick faults in Southgate but he has a better record as England manager than all his predecessors.”

Spain discomfited France 2-1, and England beat Netherlands 2-1, to reach the final of the tournament.

According to Piers Morgan: “It’s impossible not to like and admire Southgate. We all pick faults in him, but he’s a good man with a better record as England manager than all his predecessors bar Alf Ramsey. 

I think, and hope, he’s finally going to win the trophy he deserves.”
