United Kingdom (UK) Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has hailed the Three Lions despite not bringing home the Euro trophy.

England lost to Spain 1-2 in the final of the Euro 2024 on Sunday 14 July, 2024 at Olympiastadion, Berlin, Germany.
The UK PM also congratulated Spain for emerging champions of Europe once again.
Spain has now won the European Championship Title a record four (4) times – 1964, 2008, 2012 and 2024.
PM Starmer wrote: “You made your country proud, @England.
Congratulations to Spain.”
