At the Republican National Convention (RNC), several delegates were seen wearing ear bandages looking like the one worn by former US President, Donald Trump, after he sustained a wound during an assassination attempt at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday 13 July, 2024.

Joe Neglia, an innovator at the Republican Convention, told Fox News Digital: “Yesterday when he came in, and there was that eruption of love in the room, I thought, ‘what can I do to honor the truth? What can I possibly do?
“And then I saw the bandage and I thought, I can do that. So, I put it on simply to honor Trump and to express sympathy with him and unity with him.”
Republican Party candidate for the US Presidential Election 2024, Donald Trump, received a warm welcome from delegates at the RNC on Tuesday night where lawmakers, activists and everyday Americans spoke about immigration, crime and more.
This time, Trump arrived with his newly picked running mate, Senator JD Vance.
