Russia-Ukraine: Biden and Zelenskyy sign ten-year security deal to help fight against Russia

United States (US) President, Joe Biden, and President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, have signed a ten-year security deal as the fighting between Russia and Ukraine intensifies.

The security deal is aimed at helping Ukraine in its fighting against Russia.

Also, G7 Leaders approved a $50 billion loan for Ukraine on Thursday 13 June, 2024.

According to France 24: “US President #JoeBiden and Ukrainian counterpart #VolodymyrZelensky signed a ten-year security deal Thursday, to help #Ukraine fight against Russia. 


It includes a commitment from the #US to work with Congress on sustainable funding for the future.


“#G7 leaders approved a $50 billion loan to #Ukraine Thursday, saying they would fund it using profits from frozen Russian #assets. 


#Moscow lashed out and called the move “illegal”, as @MonteReports explains.”

The fighting between Russia and Ukraine started after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

President Biden has assured to support Ukraine for as long as it takes.
