According to Paris 2024: “The Flame sets sail and sets off to meet the Ultramarine Territories!
Aboard the Maxi Populaire XI of
@VoileBanquePop , the Olympic flame will cross the Atlantic, led by Armel Le Cléac’h and Sébastien Josse with a crazy crew on board!
Departing from Brest heading towards Pointe à Pitre. Arrival scheduled for June 15 in Guadeloupe and June 17 in Martinique.
In parallel with this great crossing, the Olympic Flame, carefully preserved and carried in the lanterns, will successively illuminate Guyana (June 9), Reunion (June 12) and French Polynesia (June 13).”
The Olympic Games Paris 2024 will kick off on Friday 26 July and will end on Sunday 11 August, 2024.
