Jesús Navas and Sevilla FC President, José María del Nido Carrasco, have reached an agreement that the player will take up a position at the club for life after hanging his boots when his contract expires in December 31, 2024.

According to sevillafc.es:
Club president, José María del Nido Carrasco and Jesús Navas have agreed that the Sevilla legend will renew his contract until 31 December 2024. After hanging up his boots he will take up a position within the club for life.
Jesús Navas wanted to send the following message to Sevillistas: “I didn’t take a minute for me to reply to the President’s offer. I want to retire in Nervión. I am very happy to continue at the club that I love.”
He added, “My desire, which I have communicated to the President, is to continue playing until December in a transition to continue helping the team. Then I will hang up my boots having lived the dream that I always dreamed of playing for.”
