Raisi Helicopter Crash: IRIMFA send condolences

Iran’s state media has announced the demise of President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, alongside, Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, following the crash of the helicopter carrying them back to the country from Azerbaijan on Sunday 19 May, 2024.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iran (IRIMFA) wrote, it “expresses its condolences over the martyrdom of President Raisi”.

It was earlier reported that, the helicopter had made a hard landing due to foggy conditions.

IRIMFA wrote: “The Iranian Foreign Ministry expresses its congratulations & condolences over the martyrdom of the beloved & popular servant of the Iranian nation, President Raisi, FM Amirabdollahian, & their precious companions to the great & noble nation of Iran.”
