Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has released update on the fitness of his players at a press conference ahead of the top flight encounter against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will travel to the Etihad Stadium for a Premier League 2023/24 showdown against Manchester City on Saturday 4 May, 2024 at 17:30 (WAT).
The Spaniard said, Norwegian striker, Erling Braut Haaland, is fit to field for the Cityzens against the Wolves.
He went ahead to describe English midfielder, Phil Foden, as “a more mature” player.
At the pre-Wolves press conference, Guardiola said:
“[Phil Foden and Ruben Dias] are okay. [Ederson’s injury] looked worse than it is. He trained yesterday and feels good. He could be back against Wolves.”
(On whether Erling Haaland is fit to play) Yes.
(On Phil Foden) He has done really good, I have said many times. His impact in the final third is really good and his work ethic. Every year the amount of games and minutes he is playing, he is more mature. He understands the game.
The job the academy has done over the years is incredible. They help them to be better players. All of them are professional and will have long careers. It’s so nice.
