Nicolas Jackson sealed victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues with a brace in the 48th and 80th minutes.
The hosts went three goals ahead within the first 45 minute through Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher and Noni Madueke, in the 15th, 30th and 36th minutes respectively.
After 35 encounters, Chelsea moved up to seventh (7th) on the table with 54 points, same points as Manchester United who are eighth (8th), however have one unplayed game, while West Ham United are ninth (9th) with 49 points from 36 games.
