Israel V Hamas: Macron ‘outraged by Israeli strikes in Rafah’

President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has come out to express his outrage following “the Israeli strikes that have killed many displaced persons in Rafah”.

The French President said, “these operations must stop”, adding, “there are no safe areas in Rafah for Palestinian citizens”.

The Israeli strikes on tent camps in Rafah on Sunday 26 May, 2024 killed more than 30 people, as disclosed by Gazan Officials.

According to President Macron: “Outraged by the Israeli strikes that have killed many displaced persons in Rafah.


“These operations must stop. There are no safe areas in Rafah for Palestinian civilians.


“I call for full respect for international law and an immediate ceasefire.”
