World Malaria Day is an international observance commemorated every year on 25 April and recognizes global efforts to control malaria.
World Malaria Day 2024 is marked under the theme “Accelerating the fight against malaria for a more equitable world”.
According to the WHO: “#Malaria is PREVENTABLE. Lower the risk of getting malaria through:
• mosquito nets
• mosquito repellents
• antimalarial medicines
• malaria vaccine
“And don’t forget to wear protective clothing.”
