Uefa Europa League 2023/24: West Ham 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen – Black and Reds through to semis

West Ham United have been knocked out of the Uefa Europa League 2023/24 following a 1-1 draw in the second leg of the quarter final tie against Bayer Leverkusen at London Stadium on Thursday 18 April, 2024.

The Black and Reds emerged victorious in the first leg of the tie at the BayArena, discomfiting the Hammers by two goals to nil.

Michail Antonio placed the hosts in front early, in the 13th minute, however, the visitors who were more dominant all through the encounter, fought back and levelled late, in the 89th minute through Jeremie Frimpong.

With this outcome, Bayer Leverkusen have reached the semi finals of the Uefa Europa League 2023/24, winning with a 3-1 aggregate.
