English side, Aston Villa, are through to the semi finals of the Uefa Europa Conference League 2023/24 after winning on penalties 4-3 in the quarter final second leg against French side, Lille, at Decathlon Arena-Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Thursday 18 April, 2024.

Unai Emery’s side who won 2-1 in the first leg at Villa Park fell 1-2 to Lille in France in the second leg; Yusuf Yazici and Benjamin Andre netted for Lille in the 15th and 67th minutes respectively, but, the visitors pulled one back in the 87th minute through Matty Cash.
The result takes Aston Villa straight to the semi final of the tournament.
