Uefa Champions League 2023/24: Bayern Munich 2-2 Real Madrid – Vinicius deny Bavarians

With a brace, Brazilian forward, Vinicius Junior, ensured Real Madrid left Germany with a point from the UCL semi final clash against Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid settled for one point each following a 2-2 draw in the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 semi final first leg at Allianz Arena, Munich on Tuesday 30 April, 2023.

Vinicius had placed Carlo Ancelotti’s Los Blancos ahead in the 24th minute, perfectly converting Toni Kroos’ assist, however, the Bavarians hustled back and levelled through Leroy Sane in the 58th minute.

Thomas Tuchel’s side then took the lead through English forward, Harry Kane, from the penalty spot in the 57th minute, before Vinicius equalized for the visitors in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot.

The second leg of the semi final tie between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will take place on Wednesday 8 May, 2024 at Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, Spain.
