The Nigerians In Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has sent its congratulatory message to Nigerian chess master, Tunde Onakoya.

Onakoya set the record for the “longest marathon chess playing session without losing a game”.
The Nigerian Chess Master broke the record after playing for 60 hours, dethroning Norwegian duo, Hallvard Haug Flatebø and Sjur Ferkingstad, who held the previous record of 56 hours, 9 minutes, and 37 seconds set in 2018.
In its congratulatory message, NIDCOM wrote: “Congratulations @Tunde_OD is this a remarkable achievement for setting the Guinness World Record @GWR for the longest marathon chess playing session without losing a game.
