According to manutd.com, Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag, give fitness update on his players ahead of the top flight clash:

Erik ten Hag has provided an injury update, ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League meeting with Sheffield United at Old Trafford.

Wednesday’s game follows hot on the heels of Sunday’s remarkable Emirates FA Cup semi-final with Coventry City, which we won on penalties after the Sky Blues came back from a 3-0 deficit to force extra-time.

Marcus Rashford was replaced by Amad in the dying seconds of normal time, while Scott McTominay came off for Omari Forson, and the homegrown pair face a race to be fit for this fixture.

Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho also picked up problems in the capital, but should be okay to play.

“Yeah, so we had a problem with Garnacho, that’s why we took him off during the game but I think he will be fine,” Ten Hag said at his press conference on Tuesday.

“Scott McTominay, we have to assess today. That is really doubtful. Marcus Rashford is also doubtful and then there was an issue with Bruno Fernandes, with the hand. But I think he can make it.

“So we have some doubts going into the game tomorrow.”
