“The qualification of the Super Falcons is a testament to the resilience of the entire nation”, the former Governor of Anambra State said.
The Super Falcons of Nigeria qualified for Paris 2024 Olympic after beating the Bayana Bayana of South Africa by a 1-0 aggregate.
Nigeria won by a lone goal in Abuja, Nigeria, and finished goalless against South Africa in Pretoria, South Africa.
Obi said: “The qualification of Nigeria’s Women’s Football team for the 2024 Olympics in Paris is not just a triumph on the field of play. It is a testament to the resilience, skill, and determination of the entire nation.
