The Super Falcons of Nigeria have secured their spot in the forthcoming Olympic tagged ‘Paris 2024’ after discomfiting the Bayana Bayana of South Africa by 1-0 aggregate.

In the second leg of the Olympic football qualification, Nigeria held South Africa to a goalless draw in Pretoria, South Africa, on Tuesday 9 April, 2024.
The Super Falcons emerged victorious in the first leg in Abuja, Nigeria, by a lone goal which was scored by Rasheedat Ajibade from the penalty spot.
According to Super Falcons: “Nigeria breaks the Olympic jinx since 2008 with a 1-0 aggregate victory over South Africa, securing qualification! We are through to @Paris2024 “
