Competition calendar:

Friday July 26, 2024 is the official launch date of the 2024 Olympic Games with a flamboyant opening ceremony on the Seine.
Events will actually have begun as early as Wednesday July 24 with team sports followed by the first archery and handball competitions.
The Olympiad will close on August 11 with a ceremony at the famous Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
The Paralympic Games begin on August 29 and end on September 8, 2024.
An unprecedented opening ceremony will take place between the Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Elysées on August 28, 2024.
