He explained the move will help Israel “achieve complete victory”.

The fighting between Israel and Hamas started after Hamas launched a surprise attack on the Southern region of Israel, killing hundreds of Israelis, and taking several others hostage.

Israel has been “at war” with Hamas for more than 200 hundred days now; some hostages have been released, and some are still in the captivity of the Palestinian militants.

PM Netanyahu disclosed: “Today I met with representatives of abducted families and bereaved families from the HaGevor forum and the Tikva forum.

I clarified:

The idea that we stop the war before achieving all its goals is out of the question. We will enter Rafah and eliminate the Hamas battalions there – with or without a deal, in order to achieve complete victory.”
