Bundesliga 2023/24: Heidenheim 3-2 Bayern Munich – Hosts come from two goals down to win

FC Heidenheim fought from two goals down to discomfit reigning German Kings, Bayern Munich, 3-2, in the Bundesliga 2023/24 match at Voith-Arena, Heidenheim on Saturday 6 April, 2024.

English forward, Harry Kane, netted the first for Thomas Tuchel’s side in the 38th minute, and Serge Gnabry made it two in the 45th minute.

Kane’s opener was his 32nd league goal of the season, however, was not enough inspiration for the Bavarians as they were humiliated in the encounter.

Heidenheim netted twice within two minutes to level through substitute Kevin Sessa and Tim Kleindienst.

Kleindienst sealed victory for the hosts in the 79th minute.

With this result, Tuchel’s Bayern Munich are 16 points behind toppers Bayer Leverkusen, who scaled through Union Berlin on Saturday by a lone goal.
