Marcus Rashford placed Erik Ten Hag’s side in front early in the 8th minute and held on till the end of the first half.
In the 56th and 80th minutes, Phil Foden netted Guardiola’s side’s leveller and the second before Norwegian sharpshooter, Erling Braut Haaland, sealed victory for the hosts in the 1st minute of additional time.
With this outcome, Manchester City have amassed 62 points, trailing toppers Liverpool by a point, while Manchester United are sixth with 44 points.
On the other side, Burnley fell 0-2 to AFC Bournemouth at Turf Moor.
