Nigerian investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, is of the belief that, “countries need enemies in order to develop”.

Hundeyin said: “Sometimes countries need enemies in order to develop. The closer and more powerful the enemy, the higher the urgency and speed of development.
“South Korea and India needed North Korea and Pakistan in order to be what they are today. Niger vs. Nigeria could do something similar.”
HC: Hundeyin did not specify the area where development is needed due to “enemies”. There are so many things needed “in order to develop”, pressure from “enemies” alone is not enough!
