SSC Napoli drew 1-1 when they clashed against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League 2023/24 round of 16 at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday 21 February, 2024.
The Catalans took the lead through Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski, in the 60th minute, but the Partenopei fought back and levelled through Osimhen in the 75th minute.
The result means both sides share point.
The encounter was Napoli’s first since the sack of Walter Mazzarri after three months in control; and replaced with manager, Francesco Calzona.
It was Barcelona’s first UEFA Champions League knockout match in three years.
On the other side of the UEFA Champions League 2023/24 round of 16, FC Porto scaled through Arsenal by a lone goal in Portugal.
Galeno netted Porto’s winner in the 4th minute of additional time at Estádio do Dragão.
