Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun MFR, CON, said, the Lagos Mass Rail Transit (LMRT) Red Line Rail project “is set to enhance travel efficiency and elevate transportation and logistics within the state”.

Mr Abiodun who was present at the commissioning of the Lagos Red Line Rail added, the Ogun State Government “is leveraging this transportation infrastructure advancement by fostering collaboration through the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission”.
The LMRT Red Line Rail project was commissioned by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday 29 February, 2024.
Governor Abiodun said: “We gathered with our leader, President @officialABAT, alongside the host Governor, His Excellency, Mr. @jidesanwoolu and other prominent figures for the unveiling of the initial phase of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Red Line project. This innovative 37-kilometre endeavour is set to enhance travel efficiency and elevate transportation and logistics within the state.
“Additionally, it is important to highlight that @OGSG_Official is leveraging this transportation infrastructure advancement by fostering collaboration through the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission. This partnership aims to support residents residing in border communities and improve connectivity between the two states.”
