Kenya’s Bernard Sang has emerged winner of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon which held today, Saturday 10 February, 2024.

The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon 2024 is the 9th edition of the event; and it is a 42km race.
Sang discomfited about eighty (80) other top marathoners to clinch victory, and will return home with the grand prize of $50,000.
Simon Cheprot and Edwin Kiptoo, both from Kenya, emerged second and third, and will go home with $40,000 and $30,000 respectively.
Sang finished at 2 hours, 16 minutes, and 49 seconds.
HC: All three are Kenyans! So, they’ve successfully uprooted a total sum of $120,000 from Nigeria! Congrats!!
